March Newsletter -- Edition 2.3

March - In like a lion, out like a ninja!

So, month #3 is almost in the books for '05. I got a lot of stuff in the works right now but I've decided that I need to keep you entertained in April so I'm not going to talk about it very much right now. One thing I will talk about - apparently, my Distraction project has been cited in a research project about autism by one Amy Rivers, somewhere in the UK.

Huh. Not sure how I feel about that.

And the news...

1. Pet Noir

The incredibly talented and devoted artist (and all around cool person) Mari Schaal is curating her first event and has invited me to be in it. Find all the details at the link above. I've done a piece specifically for the show called The Squeaky Dolphin. There are lots of great San Francisco artists participating, including Nate Van Dyk, Chris Fabbri, Attaboy, and more.

The opening reception is Saturday April 9, 2005 at Balazo Gallery in the Mission of San Francisco.

I've made postcards for the show on my Gocco screenprinting machine, which is one of the (if not THE) best birthday present I've ever gotten. I'm on a little bit of a guerilla mission this time around so keep your eyes open around town. I'd tell you more but then it wouldn't really be too guerilla, would it? It's bad enough I' know what, I've said too much already.

If you want one for sure, drop me a line with your address and I'll put a stamp on that sucker and drop it in the little blue box.

That's all for now. Like I said, I'm saving everything else for April.
